In both cases, applicants must represent Ad Astra’s values, commitment to customer service and a passion for international travel and studying abroad. We also expect consultants are willing to work hard grow and confidently represent the Ad Astra brand in their social and professional networks throughout Mexico, and around the world.

Meet Some of our Consultants

Claudia Barreto, Peru and Chile I Since 2018

Claudia Barreto, who joined Ad Astra in 2018 is a marketer by profession and an Educational Consultant. When she heard the proposal to be part of Ad Astra, she liked the opportunity to be part of one of the best experiences a person can live: studying abroad.

She worked in another country and took the opportunity to do a specialization at the University. besides getting to know the culture and customs of that country, she learned a new language and got to know new places. The benefits of studying abroad are many and she as an Educational Consultant can contribute a lot reviewing with the families what is the best alternative for each student.

Marimar Colín, Colombia, Chile and other Latin American countries / Since 2014

Marimar Colín has been with Ad Astra since 2014 as part of the Marketing & lnnovations team and two years ago she joined the team of consultants for Ad Astra Chile and Ad Astra Colombia, helping many students to make their dream of studying abroad come true.

She is a mom of a little girl, but as soon as she is old enough, she will send her daughter to study abroad program, since it is a great educational and life opportunity for every child.

Having been with Ad Astra for so many years has helped her to get to know the needs of parents and students, as well as being familiar with all the schools we offer in the different countries.

Mónica Ongay, Merida I Since 2001

Mónica has been with Ad Astra since 2001, supporting over 1000 students and families during those 20 years. She is Ad Astra’s Director of Development and Training, and a mother to three teenage boys – all currently studying in Canada. Monica currently lives in Merida, having recently moved there from Cancun. As a teenager, Mónica studied in the USA herself, so knows very clearly the power of studying abroad and works hard every day in helping families find their perfect study abroad option.

Rosamaria Uribe, Mexico City I Since 2004

Rosamaria is Ad Astra’s Sales Director and has been a consultant and supervisor since 2004. In this role, Rosamaria provides guidance and support to all Ad Astra’s consultants. Her two daughters spent multiple years studying with Ad Astra in Canada, and one has recently joined Ad Astra as a consultant herself. Rosamaria has worked with hundreds of families in Mexico, becoming one of the world’s leading experts on boarding school placements for international students.
